REAP VOLUNTEERS COLLECT FOOD AT A FOOD DRIVE

Raytown Emergency Assistance Program is determined to help the people in our communit y who are temporarily unable to help themselves. Our goal is to provide a hand up to our clients, not a hand out.

Founded in 1982 to raise funding for utility assistance in the Raytown area, REAP became an independent, full service, emergency assistance program on July 27, 1991 by a vote of the Board of Directors. On January 1, 1993, REAP became a United Way 501(3)C agency.

REAP is supported by churches, the city of Raytown, civic and school organizations, businesses and many individuals who give time and money. We own the building out of which we operate and our services necessitate funding for upkeep, utilities, and office expenses.A new facility is currently in development to meet the growing need in our community.
